(MINNESOTA) – A local Master Sergeant is speaking out against Democratic Vice Presidential pick’s claims about his military service.
Master Sergeant Eric Marts said not only did Walz know about a deployment to Iraq before he retired in 2005, but he knew more.
“He also knew stop loss was going to be implemented,” Marts said. “Which means if your enlistment would run out while you’re on deployment, you still weren’t coming home. You would be extended involuntary.”
Walz enlisted in the National Guard at age 17.
