Planned expansion and improvements unveiled for Fargo's Hector International Airport

(Fargo, ND) — The executive director of the Fargo Airport Authority says the expansion project getting underway is expected to be completed sometime in 2026.

“It’s a different look, it’s a warmer feeling, lots of glass, lots of natural light, additional gate space so you are not so constrained right now when you sit in the hold room or the departure lounge waiting for your flight, additional concession space, restroom space,” said Shawn Dobberstein.

Dobberstein says the $124 million expansion will bring several new amenities.

Four new gates will also be added, bringing the total number of gates to nine.
