ND education licensing board to meet in special session regarding West Fargo teacher

(BISMARCK) — North Dakota’s state teacher licensing board will convene a special meeting Friday in Bismarck to discuss the license of a West Fargo teacher jailed on child pornography charges.

Rebecca Pitkin, Executive Director of the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board, confirmed to WDAY Radio the agenda of a Friday morning meeting of the board is to “discuss the license of David George.” The 37-year-old West Fargo man is facing seven felony charges, including six Class C Felonies for Possession of Certain Materials Prohibited.

George was most recently the principal at West Fargo’s Independence Elementary School.

The board is expected to take action in the meeting.
