Fargo South to dismiss classes following bomb threat

(FARGO) — Fargo Public Schools officials say school is being dismissed for the day at Fargo South High School, following a bomb threat called in this morning.

“South High School students and staff are safe and evacuated from the building,” the district posted on social media. “To allow for the school to be properly searched and due to the disruption of the school operations, school will be dismissed for the day.”

A reunification site will be established for parents to pick up their students at Lewis & Clark Elementary School. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., parents may pick up their students on the west side of the school on 17th Street. Parents are asked to bring an ID with them for purposes of reunification.

Students may leave via their cars after the parking lot has been cleared by law enforcement. Students are being allowed to walk home.
