(BISMARCK, ND) – Strata Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to sell to another company.
Earlier this month, Knife River Corporation, based in Bismarck, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Strata Corporation, a leading construction materials and contracting services provider in North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota.
The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
Strata Corporation was founded in 1910 as Bradshaw Gravel Company, and has been a North Dakota-based, family-owned company ever since.
