(FARGO, ND) – More than 1,500 children who would otherwise go without a present this holiday season had a holiday wish list submitted on their behalf. Gifts on these holiday lists will be distributed in two weeks so that parents and guardians have time to wrap them before the holidays.
But, the YMCA of the Northern Sky needs your help to accomplish this task.
To date, 498 children’s wish lists have yet to be sponsored and a large number of volunteer shifts are still available before December 15. The YMCA is asking the community to share the true hope and joy of the holidays for these local children.
Pick up a “wish list” request tag from the Giving Tree at either YMCA location (400 1st Ave S or 4243 19th Ave S, Fargo). Please register your tag at the Member Services Desk. New this year, you can also adopt a wish list online by clicking here.
