M State, Sanford and Moorhead High School Career Academy partner to offer emergency medical responder course

(MOORHEAD, MINN) – M State, Sanford and the Moorhead High School Career Academy are partnering on a new emergency medical responder course for Moorhead High School students.

Course graduates earn both high school and college credit and can take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification exam to become licensed in Minnesota and North Dakota. Goals of the partnership include inspiring students to work in healthcare and creating a workforce pipeline for the community.

It is the first time M State and Sanford have partnered on a high school-level EMR/EMT training program. There is no cost to participants.
