(NEW YORK CITY, NY) – Viewership numbers are in for the FCS semifinal football games.
Sam Herder, Senior FCS Anaylst for HERO Sports, says an ESPN spokesperson told him more than 1.5 million people watched NDSU defeat SDSU, and more than 1.3 million people watched Montana State defeat South Dakota.
That’s more than a million people more than watched the 2023 semifinals on ESPN2, which saw UAlbany-South Dakota State draw 476,000 viewers, while NDSU-Montana drew 790,000 viewers.
NDSU takes on Montana State for the FCS National Championship on Monday, January 6 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
