(ST. PAUL, MINN) – Minnesota Republicans are asking U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate fraud in the state.
In a letter sent to Bondi, Republican leaders – Speaker Lisa Demuth, Majority Leader Harry Niska and Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee Chair Kristin Robbins – say they also wish to inform Bondi of ‘years of rampant unchecked fraud occurring in our state due to failed leadership by Governor Tim Walz, his agencies and legislative Democrats.’
The fraud, the leaders say, has resulted in mora than $600 million in resources not getting to Minnesotans in need.
