ST. PAUL, MN — Minnesota’s State Patrol is updating their logo to match the new official state flag.
The current logo uses a portion of the old state flag. The new one will incorporate elements of the new flag design, but shows some more detailed elements; like a river, hills, trees, and a four-pointed star.
The new design will need to be placed on 188,000 pieces of equipment, including squad cars, badges, uniform buttons, and more – adding up to an estimated cost of $4 million dollars.
