Moorhead man arrested after ramming squad cars, fleeing

(MOORHEAD, MINN) — A man has been arrested in Moorhead after he damaged a pair of squad cars after a domestic situation.

At approximately 1 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of 9th Street South for a domestic situation. While officers spoke with the male, Saige Cogger, he was uncooperative and argumentative. Cogger purposely backed into a squad car and fled the scene. While another officer began pursuing Cogger, he would deliberately ram the squad car. Cogger eventually returned to the initial scene and was taken into custody.
Cogger has been transported to the Clay County Corrections Facility on multiple charges.

One officer, who was pursuing the suspect, did seek medical attention for pain after their squad was struck twice by Cogger’s vehicle.
