More than 700 bills sent at crossover in North Dakota legislative session

(BISMARCK, ND) — The North Dakota Legislature has sent more than 700 bills between the two chambers heading into the Crossover break.

That’s six more than last session, according to North Dakota Legislative Council. A total of 412 bills have gone from the House to the Senate and 298 bills have gone from the Senate to the House. On Tuesday, the North Dakota House passed 34 bills before breaking for the crossover; while the Senate passed nine bills.

The legislature will reconvene late next week.
