(BEDMINSTER, NJ) — In nearly four hours following its premiere on X, formerly known as Twitter, Tucker Carlson’s interview with Donald J. Trump has garnered more than 100 million views on the platform.
“President Trump won this evening’s Republican debate in dominating fashion. More people watched President Trump’s interview with Tucker Carlson than the rest of the field on the debate stage combined,” Trump Campaign Senior Advisor Susie Wiles said in a statement.
When asked by Carlson why he wasn’t in Milwaukee at the GOP Debate, Trump said, “The polls have come out, and I’m leading by 50 and 60 points, and some of them are at one and zero. I’m saying, ‘Do I sit there for an hour or two hours, whatever it’s going to be, and get harassed by people that shouldn’t even be running for President.”
Additionally, as of 12 a.m. Central Time on Thursday morning, the post had been reposted more than 130,000 times and liked nearly 450,000 times. The entire segment with Carlson lasted just over 46 minutes.
