(New York, NY) — The New York judge in the hush money trial is telling former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to stop talking about the case.
Judge Juan Merchan issued the warning on Friday after Donald Trump’s legal team brought up recent statements by Cohen, who went on TikTok this week wearing a T-shirt that appeared to show Trump behind bars. Trump is accused of falsifying business records to hide a hush money payment that Cohen made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
Micheal Cohen is set to testify at the trial on Monday.
