ND Rep: Republicans are united behind Trump at RNC

WDAY RADIO — North Dakota Representative Jim Kasper says party members are behind their elected leader after an attempted assassination of Former President Donald Trump.

Kasper made the comments while attending the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The several-day-long event is filled with Republican speakers, who officially nominated Donald Trump as their Presidential Candidate for the party. Many whom turned to a talk of uniting behind Donald Trump.

“The mood has changed dramatically because of the attempt. I think it has not only changed the mood of the convention, but the mood of the country.” said Kasper while in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention.

Kasper is referring to the attempted assassination of Former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania late last week during a campaign rally. Since the shooting, both the Republican and Democratic parties have called for a “turning down of the temperature” in political conversations.

Trump also announced his Vice President, one time Ohio Senator J.D. Vance.
