WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Biden will address the nation tonight in his first on-camera appearance since he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.
Biden told his campaign workers over the phone Monday that dropping out was “the right thing to do.”
“My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term.” wrote President Biden in a statement on X.
His speech is set for 7 p.m. Central and can be heard live on WDAY Radio and AM 1100 The Flag.
