WDAY RADIO — Secretary of State Antony Blinken has left the Middle East without a Gaza ceasefire agreement or a deal for Hamas to release hostages held since October.
Blinken has been meeting with negotiators in Qatar on a proposal that would bring Israel and Hamas closer to an agreement.
Before leaving Qatar on Tuesday, Blinken told reporters the deal “needs to get done in the days ahead, and we will do everything possible to get it across the finish line.”
On Tuesday, Israeli authorities said they’d recovered the bodies of six hostages during an overnight military operation in Gaza.
