BISMARCK, ND — The North Dakota Attorney General says his team and other law enforcement entities are investigating the sudden shuttering of Epic companies, following accusations of laid off staff and delayed payments to contractors.
Attorney General Drew Wrigley says it was brought to his attention in May, during the early days of the payment pause. He says investigations are ongoing, but did not allude to any evidence of criminal wrongdoing at this time.
Wrigley made the comments at a press conference held in Bismarck this week.
