FARGO, ND — North Dakota State University is announcing a former hall-of-fame wrestling coach passed away Tuesday night.
Bucky Maughan was 83-years old. He was a coach for NDSU for 47 years and won four national championships. He led the team to six national runner-up finishers, and guided the Bison to Division 1. He also guided students to three undefeated seasons in 1984-85, 1991-92 and 2003-04
NDSU is expecting to host a celebration of life event. Details from the college will be announced soon.
