NDSU, SDSU game likely to be played with sellout crowd

(FARGO, ND) – Saturday’s FCS semifinal game between North Dakota State and South Dakota State appears to be headed towards being played in front of a sellout crowd.

Late Monday afternoon, NDSU Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations Troy Goergen told WDAY Radio News that season ticket holders have until the end of the day Tuesday to reserve their tickets for the game, which is scheduled to kick off Saturday morning at 11 a.m.

After tomorrow’s deadline, any remaining tickets will go on sale beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Goergen says he doesn’t expect many tickets to be available come Wednesday morning.

Saturday’s game between the Bison and Jackrabbits is the second matchup between the teams this season, with NDSU winning the Dakota Marker game in Fargo 13-9.

Currently, the cheapest tickets available on the secondary market are priced at $60 each, with two tickets at midfield, about 25 rows up, selling at around $300 each.
