(BISMARCK, ND) – The leader of the North Dakota Community Foundation says he’s stepping down.
After 37 years with the organization, President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Dvorak says he’s retiring at the end of the 2025 calendar year. Dvorak began work at NDCF in 1989 as a Program Officer and became President and CEO in 1995. He is only the third President and CEO in the organization’s history, succeeding Dr. Richard Timmins and the original Executive Director (and former ND Governor) William L. Guy.
Among his achievements at the helm of the foundation is the charitable asset growth from $5 million to more than $160 million. Grants in excess of $118 million were also made possible by Dvorak to North Dakota communities, schools and non-profit organizations.
