(Bismarck, ND) — State health officials are tracking a rise in flu cases across North Dakota.
According to North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services officials, flu cases in the state totaled 302 for the week ending December 21st, an increase of 194 cases from the previous week. Meanwhile, North Dakota COVID-19 increased threefold during the same period from 142 cases to 441. Finally, health officials tracked an increase of RSV cases for the following week, during the caseload grew from 18 to 40 cases.
Health officials say vaccinations can prevent or reduce the severity of these respiratory illnesses.
