(WASHINGTON, DC) – Legal Services of North Dakota is receiving funding in the amount of more than one million dollars to prevent evictions and homelessness.
The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, through the Eviction Protection Grant Program (EPGP), a first-of-its-kind federal program designed to expand the reach of legal services to tenants at risk of, or subject to, eviction
HUD launched the EPGP in 2021.
