Pair indicted on drug trafficking charge on Red Lake Indian Reservation

(MINNEAPOLIS, MINN) – Two people have been indicted on drug trafficking charges on the Red Lake Indian Reservation earlier this year.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota says Bobby Lee Donnell, 46, and Jordan Lee Lussier, 29, were stopped by the Minnesota State Patrol in September. A state trooper checked Donnell’s and Lussier’s driver’s licenses and found both had been revoked; Lussier also had a warrant for his arrest. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of over 50 grams of methamphetamine and over 40 grams of fentanyl.

The pair have been indicted on one count each of conspiracy to possess methamphetamine and fentanyl with the intent to distribute.  An arraignment and motions hearing has been scheduled for January 24, 2025.
