PHILADELPHIA, PA — A Pennsylvania court is ordering Elon Musk to defend his million-dollar giveaway ahead of the upcoming election.
The billionaire Trump supporter was ordered to attend a court hearing in Philadelphia today as part of a lawsuit seeking to stop his political action committee from awarding million-dollar checks to registered voters who attend Trump rallies in the battleground states.
The lawsuit by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office calls the giveaways an “illegal lottery” to entice Pennsylvania residents to share personal data.
