Police arrest suspect after body discovery in South Fargo Apartment

FARGO, ND — Police say a death is under investigation in an apartment building in South Fargo on Tuesday.

The Fargo Police Department says the body was reported to them at 1:40 p.m. at the 1300 block of Oak Manor Ave. S. During their investigation, authorities learned the body was moved following the death of the individual. After a series of investigations, authorities arrested 26-year-old Terri Nesemeier, who they say knew the deceased person and accessed the apartment following their death. In addition, authorities say they discovered property belonging to the deceased in Nesemeier’s home.

An autopsy is pending. At this time, no foul play is suspected.

Nesemeier is charged with preventing arrest, theft of a credit card, and possession of stolen property.
