NORTH DAKOTA – The appeal of last year’s state law banning abortion in North Dakota seems to be waning among state Republicans.
That’s according to new polling by the North Dakota News Cooperative showing support for the measure dropping from 71 percent to 54 percent.
Support from all North Dakota adults stands at 38 percent with 55 percent of people opposed to the law. It sits in legal limbo after it was struck down by a North Dakota district court judge two months ago.
