RICHLAND COUNTY, N.D. – Some in Fargo are concerned about a proposed dairy facility planned to be built 34 miles south in Richland County.
Environmentalists say the operation’s chemicals and other waste would flow into the Red River, affecting Fargo’s water supply.
The Dakota Resource Council’s Agricultural Committee is petitioning the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality to repeal the farm’s permit.
