(St. Paul, MD) — Minnesota is sending out the first batch of nearly 150,000 rebate checks that were not cashed after they were issued in September.
The Minnesota Department of Revenue hit their 60-day expiration date, and several residents did not cash them, either due to the expiration, throwing away the checks because they were believed to be junk mail, or were sometimes sent back due to personal beliefs. The second batch of checks will be valid for another 60 days. Another group of checks will be reissued in early December.
