(St. Paul, MN) — The commission that will decide Minnesota’s new flag and emblem must narrow their choices down to five finalists.
More than 26 hundred submissions have been sent in by residents, for both the banner and the seal. These suggestions have included elements connected to the state, such as the Northern Lights and the Common Loon, which is the state bird. The virtual meeting is set for 1 pm, with a second meeting scheduled for 9 pm, if necessary.
