(New Town, ND) — An elderly Montana man is dead after he apparently fell off his boat at the New Town marina.
According to the Mountrail County sheriff, the 74-year-old Sidney resident went under Friday morning as he was trying to swim back to the vessel.
Multiple agencies reportedly recovered his body around 2 p.m.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the man’s death is ongoing.
