(Fargo, ND) — North Dakota’s GOP Gubernatorial candidates speaking about why they are qualified to be the next Governor of the state.
Representative Kelly Armstrong and Lieutenant Governor Tammy Miller spoke in a debate hosted by Prairie Public. The two touched on a wide-variety of topics with several pieces of agreement, including energy policy, the state’s abortion ban, laws against transgender healthcare for minors, and more.
There were some moments where the candidates called out perceived weaknesses in their opponent’s platforms. Miller pushed back against her opponent, Representative Armstrong by calling him a political insider and career politician, who has lost touch with North Dakota. He pushed back against his opponent by saying she has not built up the relationships needed to effectively run North Dakota
