Supporters rally at courthouse for Minnesota State Trooper accused of gunning down motorist

(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Hundreds of people showed up Monday in support of a Minnesota State trooper accused of gunning down an unarmed motorist last summer.

They gathered at the atrium of the Hennepin County Government Center in downtown Minneapolis as Ryan Londregan was in court on murder and manslaughter charges.

The trooper is charged with shooting and killing Ricky Cobb the Second during a traffic stop on I-94 in Minneapolis.

Several Londregan backers wore t-shirts with the wording “Trooper Londregan is innocent.”
