(Fargo, ND) — Governor Tim Walz has announced that six million dollars in grants will be available to assist child care services in Minnesota.
The money is expected to come from the Department of Employment and Economic Development.
The action is to help families to have more child care options.
The funds are expected to open up more than 22 hundred child care positions statewide.
Governor Walz made the announcement this afternoon in Minnetonka.
