(REGIONAL) – A regional healthcare system is facing a lawsuit from Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
Mayo Clinic is suing Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health Plan for medical bills totaling more than $700,000, according to multiple reports.
In a statement, Sanford Health Plan says it “is committed to providing a high-quality experience to all our members,” and that it does not comment on active or pending litigation to protect the confidentiality of those involved and out of respect for the legal process.
