WDAY RADIO — North Dakota’s fisheries are reporting a record amount of Walleye production this year at the hatchery in Garrison.
Game and Fish says the Garrison Dam hatchery produced nearly 12-million fingerlings this year. That combined with the rainy weather we’ve had throughout the year should allow the Walleye population to keep growing.
Fisheries Production and Development Leader Jerry Weigel says they’ve restocked nearly 180 bodies of water across the state.
