Reynolds man identified after two-vehicle injury crash near Buxton

BUXTON, ND — The North Dakota Highway Patrol is identifying people involved in a two-vehicle crash after two people were hospitalized Saturday morning.

The agency says both vehicles were traveling Northbound on I-29 two-miles north of Buxton one of the vehicles, driven by 24-year-old Zachary Roller from Reynolds, rear-ended the other car.

The crash settled with Roller’s vehicle coming to rest on the right shoulder of I-29. The other vehicle, driven by 29-year-old Alissa Hernandez, came to rest in the median.

Hernandez and a passenger from Roller’s vehicle, identified as 19-year-old Kaydance Mays, were both transported to a nearby healthcare facility due to injuries. Charges are pending against Roller.
