WDAY RADIO — Russia says it will retaliate against American charges that members of the Russian media are trying to influence the U.S. election.
The Biden administration on Wednesday filed money-laundering charges against two employees of the RT network, saying they were part of a scheme to hire a U.S. company to produce online content to influence the presidential election.
A spokesperson for Russia’s foreign ministry says the charges are part of a plan to purge “dissenting voices” from the global media landscape, adding that Russia will take retaliatory measures against U.S. media in response to the charges.
