Second suspect arrested in rural Cass County shooting

(WEST FARGO) – A second suspect has been arrested in relation to the July 31 shooting in rural Cass County.

Around 12:15 this afternoon, multiple area law enforcement personnel placed Kyle E. McLeod in custody in relation to the shooting. Cass County Sheriff Deputies continued their tireless investigative efforts resulting in the arrest of McLeod at a West Fargo residence.  McLeod was arrested without incident and transported to the Cass County Jail, where he is being held on a multitude of charges. The charges include robbery, terrorizing and conspiracy.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our gratitude to area law enforcement for their assistance in helping with this investigation. Their cooperation and dedication were instrumental in bringing McLeod into custody.

No further information is being released at this time. As noted in prior news briefings, Cass County authorities believe that this was an isolated incident involving individuals who were familiar with one another.
