Serious injuries reported in West Fargo motorcycle crash

(WEST FARGO) — On Friday, at approximately 5:02 p.m., a serious injury crash involving a motorcycle occurred on the 3300 block of Sheyenne Street in West Fargo.

The Kawasaki motorcycle, being operated by Brandon Sorenson, was travelling southbound on Sheyenne Street at reported high rate of speed. Sorenson lost control of his motorcycle as he rounded a curve, jumped the curb, and entered the west ditch/sidewalk of Sheyenne Street.

Sorenson was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a tree. The motorcycle came to rest on its side in the west ditch of Sheyenne Street.

Sorenson sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries from the crash, and was transported by ambulance to Sanford Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
