DRISCOLL, ND — Several people were injured after colliding with cattle near Driscoll, North Dakota on I-94.
Authorities say the cattle escaped pasture land near I-94 and gathered under an overpass. At approximately 1 a.m., a Semi struck the animals. Two other vehicles struck the animals a short time later, leading to five hospitalizations. Twenty-five cattle were killed. Both West and Eastbound I-94 was temporarily closed for five hours due to the incident.
No charges are under consideration for the drivers at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
