South High School evacuated due to bomb threat

(FARGO) — Fargo Public Schools has confirmed that a bomb threat has been received at Fargo South High School.

According to an alert on the school’s website, the threat is similar to one received on Wednesday.

“At this time, the school is being evacuated for everyone’s safety,” a post on the district’s website said.

Parents are asked to not come to the school at this time, as the district and school are following its safety procedures.

Fargo Police say they received the call at 11:12 a.m. and have officers on the scene responding to the call.

The public is asked to avoid the area around Fargo South High School until further notice.
