(FARGO, ND) — One Fargo City Commissioner is asking the City to begin exploring the possibility of a full-time mayor beginning in 2026.
Commissioner John Strand will ask the City to explore it at Monday night’s Fargo City Commission meeting. He says that, with the upcoming vacancy in the office in 2026, ‘now is the time to address’ whether or not the next mayor, along with future mayors, should serve in a full-time capacity.
The topic will be discussed at tonight’s City Commission meeting.
