DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Local officials warned about ice conditions before an SUV went through the ice on Big Detroit Lake in Detroit Lakes on Sunday.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office says recent rain and above freezing temperatures led to ice conditions changing. They warn ice is never 100 percent safe and can change daily.
