Teen arrested for attempted murder after Grand Forks stabbing

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – A teen is arrested, accused of stabbing his sister in Grand Forks.

Police responded to the 800 block of Duke Drive around 5:30 Sunday night. Authorities say during an argument a 16-year-old boy stabbed his adult sister in the stomach. She was taken to the hospital where her condition is unknown, but is believed to be life-threatening.

Police say the teen ran, but was found and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
