Trial of man accused of killing child in GF crash is delayed

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The trial of man involved in a deadly crash near Grand Forks in June is being delayed.

Lawyers on both sides are preparing arguments on whether Travis Bell’s DUI test results are admissible in court.

The Fordville man was charged with felony criminal vehicular homicide after a two-vehicle crash June third at Highway 2 and Airport Road. Bell is accused of running a red light and slamming into a vehicle driven by Nicole Louthain. Her six-year-old daughter was also in the car and died a few days after the crash.
