NEW YORK – President-Elect Donald Trump is being sentenced to unconditional discharge in his New York hush money case involving adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
The sentence is imposed without prison time, fines or probation supervision.
Trump appeared at the hearing virtually from his home in Florida. He was found guilty on 34 felony counts last year of falsifying business records in connection to hush money payments made to an adult film actress right before the 2016 election.
This comes after the Supreme Court rejected his request to block sentencing on Thursday.
Trump will be the first sitting president convicted of a felony once he takes the oath of office January 20.
