Trump to sign executive order to House deported migrants at Guantanamo Bay

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump says he will sign an executive order to prepare a facility at Guantanamo Bay to be used for deported migrants.

The order will have the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security prepare a 30,000 migrant facility at the prison site in Cuba. Guantanamo Bay has been used to house military prisoners, including some involved in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

It comes as raids targeting illegal immigrants are taking place across the country. Trump said some of those arrested “are so bad” that the U.S. doesn’t trust their home countries to hold them.
