WAHPETON, N.D. – The Wahpeton Fire Department is looking for volunteer firefighters.
Our news partners at Valley News Live spoke with Fire Chief Brent Finnie. He says they are about 9 firefighters short right now. Wahpeton needs 45 firefighters to run at full operation. Finnie says recruitment is more difficult because no one wants to volunteer anymore.
