(ST. PAUL, MINN) — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is waiting to find out if he has been chosen as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate.
Harris was reportedly interviewing candidates for the second spot on the Democratic ticket over the weekend. Walz was scheduled to be in New Hampshire to campaign for Harris but canceled the trip at the last minute. Several reports indicated he was heading to Washington, D.C. to meet with Harris. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders indicated his support for Walz during a visit to Minnesota over the weekend, saying he was impressed with the governor and his support of working families.
